The official inauguration of the redesigned square at the Querkanal took place on June 14th, 2022. It was a real community project. As the initiator and planner, the local association Südmoslesfehn also contributed considerable financial resources and personal contributions from the neighborly helpers. The municipality of Wardenburg, as the official project sponsor, financed the majority of the measure and €45,000 was taken over by the EU via the LEADER office of the district of Oldenburg.
