A steady climb above Long Scar onto Harkerside Moor takes you to the highest point in the ride, and it's here that you are rewarded with the furthest reaching views across the other side of the Swale Valley, to Reeth Low Moor, Garthdale and beyond - a picturesque patchwork of lush green hills and dry stone walls, so typical of the Dales.

Nice section of quality gravel in both directions. Higher up the Greets road climb than the more usual route from Grinton & well worth it IMO.
