Over a central line of sight, the parking garage Hohenstein was connected to a slightly higher, in the vernacular Haarmanntempel called stone pavilion. This time-typical view axis is now overgrown.
One of Gustav Haarmann's achievements to this day was the acquisition of the grounds around the Hohenstein, the city's most important recreational area.
