Below the Hohenstein is the Hammerteich. It is a small reservoir of the Borbachs shortly before its confluence with the Ruhr. Shaded hiking trails through the forest run along the shore. On the east side there is the possibility to let model boats into the water and to steer over the lake. For children there is also a playground here.
