Kapellenruh describes the historical place in the Rednitzaue or in the "Wiesengrund", in the place of which the first church in Fürth, the so-called "Martinskapelle", is said to have stood. Thus, this location would be the forerunner of today's St. Michael Church in the old town, the oldest building in the city of Fürth still standing today, which survived the Thirty Years War.
