Nice walk through the Reserva Natural das Dunas de São Jacinto. The path is well marked and also a map is available in the information center. A good addition to a walk on the beautiful beach of Sao Jacinto

Very nice hiking tour in the only Portugues National Park "Peneda Geres" The tour is a nice walk with some difficult tracks, where you need a secure step. The sights are beautiful and the lake is nice and calm.

This year we finally managed to cross the Weißbachsattel from Maurach and walk back to Pertisau from there. We started at the bus / ship / train station "Seespitz" near Maurach. The ascent goes over a gravel path, which is also used by mountain bikers, partly through the forest along the Weissbach. Shortly before the saddle you can stop off at the Weißbachhütte or the Weißbachalm. The descent is initially partly steep through the forest towards the Bärenbadalm. From there you can actually take the gondola down to Pertisau, but then miss the panoramic descent via the tunnel path, which is sometimes spectacularly carved into the rock. Shortly before the finish, you can stop off at the Rodlhütte with a great view of Lake Achensee and Pertisau. The end point is the "Karlwirt" bus stop in the village, from where you can take the bus back to the starting point every hour. If you still have stamina at the Rodlhütte, you can also walk back to the "Seespitze" and make the tour as a round

The route from Wackersdorf to Weiden is actually very beautiful. Beautiful landscape, beautiful towns and an interesting area. However, the bike path has its weaknesses. You can still see that it is always an uncomfortable climb for a river valley bike path, because nature is just as it is, and if you want to go mountain-free you have to walk along a canal. But one thing caught our eye: there is actually very little seating along the route. We tried to take a lunch break between Pfreimd and Luhe / Wildenau and we didn't find a single bench on the side of the road, unfortunately restaurants were only sparsely open on Saturday at noon (at least we didn't find any). So: take a seat with you! Unfortunately, it also goes a good way along the highway. This can be seen on the map, but in the end we probably saw the A93 more often than the Naab
