I think most visitors just walk past this church as the narrow streets hide the fact that the building is more than just a residential building.

    It's worth a visit.

The monastery church was built in 1682/83 as a foundation by the Archbishop of Salzburg Max Gandolf von Kuenburg. The monastery building was built as early as 1681 and is structurally connected to the southern monastery church with two three-story buildings with hipped roof. The organ gallery was built into the church in 1765. In 1806 the monastery was closed. In 1974/75 the exterior was renovated. From 1980 to 1983 the interior was renovated in the version from 1683.

The south-facing church is a spacious hall church with four axes. Behind the sturdy choir arch there is a not retracted rectangular choir. In the tower behind the choir is the two-story sacristy with oratory. The tower is structured on the outside with pilaster strips and ends with an onion and lantern. There is a crypt.

The interior of the church is vaulted with pillars with Ionic capitals and belt arches with a needle cap barrel with frame stucco fields. The arched west gallery stands on two red marble columns.
