Büchelberg Nature Reserve

The Büchelberg has been a nature reserve since 1939. The beautiful mountain ridge between Würm and Nagold near Münklingen is characterized by nutrient-poor grassland and pine trees and, in addition to easy hiking trails, offers unique views of nature, the northern Black Forest, the Würmtal and the Swabian Jura. Enjoy!

And at the moment (04/2020) sheep and goats, so a large area inside is cordoned off with an electric fence (including unfortunately the quarry).

Every year just before the start of winter we go to the old quarry in the Büchelberg to build stone circles. Great (con-)temporary art is created here. Come over and join us.
