Hiking
Varrenna in its medieval form is one of the most beautiful towns on Lake Como. The tour leads from the town church of St. Giorgio from the year 1313 on the numerous stairs of the hillside located on the lakeside old town down to the picturesque lakeside promenade, which leads partly on jetties on rocks at numerous Ristorantes and ice cream parlors.
For parking recommended due to the narrowness of the place a parking garage at the southern end of Varenna.
