Sulzenau Hütte

The hut is located at 2,191 meters above sea level. It serves as a stage destination on the Stubai High Trail, a destination for day hikes from the valley or a starting point for tours to the Wild Freiger, the Zuckerhütl or the Gamsspitzl. In the vicinity of the hut there is also a climbing garden, via ferrata, the WildeWasserWeg and a flying fox. And the food is delicious to kneel down. A hut that I can recommend to everyone. A great walk in beautiful nature.

An Alpine Club hut run by the friendly Hüttenwirt family Gleirscher of the D.A.V. Leipzig section. Good cuisine, accommodation for hikers on the way to the Sulzenauferner as well as on the Stubai High Trail. Great view of the Stubai Valley as far as the Innsbrucker Nordkette as well as the heights of the eastern Stubai glacier massif.

Standing on the Sulzenau Alm, in front of the 300 meter high, almost vertical,
Mountain wall with the huge waterfall from the falling Sulzenau stream, you will be rewarded with the delicious selection of the Sulzenau hut.

Tip: First take the ascent to the blue lake, stay there for a while and then stop off!

Beautifully situated hut with friendly service and a view of the glacier

Great view and a nice snack place

Nice hiking destination for hikers who are not afraid of the vertical meters.

It took us about 2 hours from the Grawa Alm.

Food and accommodation possible on site, accommodation due to Corona only with sleeping bag and by reservation.

A very nice cabin for an overnight stay

Super nice hut with incredibly friendly and competent staff who are really on their toes.
The food is great - we highly recommend the freshly prepared Kaiserschmarrn, which is good for kneeling down.
You can also spend the night in the hut to explore the surrounding peaks and the climbing area in peace.

Important: due to the ongoing corona situation, no bedding or blankets can be borrowed on site. It is therefore advisable to bring your own sleeping bag.
