In the Wadden Sea off Braderup are the remains of the Swedish three-mover schooner "Mariann". If you want to discover the wreck of wood, however, you should make your walk at low tide, as you can then make out about 200 meters from the beach wreck well.

Shipwreck off Braderups Beach

In 1961 the ship was towed into the Munkmarscher harbor - by two people from Sylt who wanted to open a floating café on it. The required permit was refused to the two, whereupon they anchored the ship a little further north between Munkmarsch and Braderup in the Wadden Sea.
