The new pioneer bridge in Templin consists of a roofed truss construction. It is used as a bicycle and pedestrian bridge and was built in 2003/04. The bridge is not only the connection between the east and west of the city, but is also part of the first construction section of the Uckermärkischer Radrundweg of the Lychen-Templin-Stolpe section with a length of 85 km.

Nice covered wooden bridge for pedestrians and cyclists.

The Uckermark cycle path leads along here. There is a recommendable restaurant at the bridge.
