Ideal place for a swim in the sea during a walk under a radiant sun.

One of my absolute favorite spots in Cornwall is Kynance Cove. Either by car or (much nicer) on a very nice cliff walk from Lizard to Kynance Cove and back (approx. 3 hours for 6 km), the winding bay is hidden in the middle of the cliffs. The water is as turquoise as you know it from pictures of the Caribbean. At low tide you can even walk to the offshore island. A nice addition is the Kynance Cove Café on the hill overlooking the bay. The view of the bay from here is clear and wide, whether you are inside or outside. When the weather is nice, there are numerous picnic tables on the lawn. The offer is varied: sandwiches of all kinds, baked potatoes, salads, hot lunch dishes (e.g. cheeseburgers), homemade cakes, ice cream, smoothies (you have to try them!), various drinks, chips and of course souvenirs, from postcards to necessities for the beach . There is also a public toilet around the corner. Everything you need for a relaxing day at the beach is there.

Beautiful location, with cafe, toilets and nearby car parking. It gets extremely busy during high season though.
