The Meissen windmill (mill route no. 1) is a Wall-Hollander from 1869. The mill tower, which is cylindrical in the lower part from hewn quarry stones and brick in the upper part, is plastered on the weather side. Since the 1930s, the mill has gradually been converted to motor operation, and in the early 1970s it was shut down completely and the equipment was dismantled and sold. Since the restoration, the mill has wind-moving sails again and a functional compass rose. The mill site is freely accessible at all times.
