Tips

  • Claudia Hinkelhuber

Gustav Langenscheidt, publisher and publisher of the English-German and German-English dictionary "Langenscheidt" died in 1895 and was initially buried in the old St. Matthew churchyard in Schöneberg. In 1939 the mausoleum was reburied in Stahnsdorf along with other hereditary burials because of Albert Speer's plans for the "World Capital Germania".
