The dead of the Jewish community Weikersheim were first buried in the Jewish cemetery Unterbalbach. In 1730 a cemetery was built on the road to Honsbronn in Gewann Stadelhof. The Jewish cemetery was created together with the Jews in Niederstetten and Laudenbach. It has an area of 46.38 Ar and today there are 607 tombstones left. The oldest tombstone is from 1730, the last funeral took place in 1941.At times, Jewish communities in the Bavarian border region, such as Acholshausen, Bütthard, Gaukönigshofen and Tauberrettersheim shared the cemetery.

You cannot enter the cemetery because the gate is locked. But you can see something over the wall. The location is also nice and quiet and picturesque.
