Remains of the Wolfsberg castle ruins from the 12th century. It was not until 1985 to 1987 that the walls were exposed again and the ruins were extensively renovated. Despite the steep stairs, especially if you already have a few kilometers in your legs, it is worth the effort and you can enjoy the wonderful view of the Trubach valley.

The Wolfsberg castle ruin is a former high medieval aristocratic castle high above the Trubach valley above the village of the same name Wolfsberg. The village belongs to the municipality of Obertrubach in the Upper Franconian district of Forchheim in Bavaria.
