Nice view over Bad Kissingen. Unfortunately, the tower is only open to the public between Easter and the end of October.

The tower is open daily from Easter to the end of October from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. It is closed in winter.

The Bismarck Tower on the Sinnberg honors Bad Kissingen's most famous guest: Otto Prince von Bismarck. The origins of the building go back to 1905. At that time, five Bad Kissingen citizens founded the Bismarck Tower Association to finance and build the Bismarck Tower.

The building plans were drawn up by the Düsseldorf architect Wilhelm Kreis, who had already designed more than 50 Bismarck Towers at the time. Although construction work could begin before the outbreak of the First World War, it could not be continued until 1926.

After the end of the Second World War, the Bismarck Tower was closed and only reopened to the public in 1986. Today you can enjoy a great view of the city of Bad Kissingen from here.
