A great location to take a long break in the dry. The pavilion is in good shape and it also has great history and views.
I have to agree with Pia, in the spring of 2020 there was a big clearing here. The trail was completely destroyed. You sometimes sink knee-deep into the mud. Hopefully this will be better soon ...

The ruins of the “pottery tower” are reminiscent of Toepffer and the time when the large heather and moor areas were cultivated (today's spelling differs from the name!) The pottery tower is north of the old village and is located on the upper reaches of the Lopau on the steep right bank.
