  • The Gladitschturm, on the Metzhöhe of the Hainberg, was built in 1897 by the Gera Beautification Association and is named after the Gera merchant Wilhelm August Gladitsch (1827 to 1895). The tower has a total height of 24 m, with a viewing platform at a height of 20 m. It has been in disrepair for many years. The restoration that began in 1979 has not yet been completed. The tower cannot be climbed.
