Very nice tour from Ribeiro Frio to Portela.
We parked in Portela and took a taxi (around € 30) to Ribeiro Frio, then walked the levada. Approx. 3 hours

Hiking
The starting point is the trout inn in Ribeiro Frio. A tour that is very attractive even in the fog. Yes, you even have to expect it, because the way to Portela is the apex of the south to north coast. Really nice is the second half of the route. Who does not want to run back the 11km, takes a taxi back in Portela, about 30 €.
