The Friedrich-Ebert-Bridge is 635 meters long with front structures and connects the Ruhrort and Homberg districts of Duisburg. The Friedrich Ebert Bridge was opened in 1954 to replace the Admiral Scheer Bridge from 1907, which was destroyed in the war. The bridge towers in Ruhrort are still preserved from the former bridge.
