Where the old town of Königshoven used to be, today there are meadows and fields and the wind turbines of the "Königshovener Höhe" wind farm. A five to six kilometer stretch from the new resettlement site Königshoven to the Petrus Chapel on the Königshovener Höhe was designed as a “path of remembrance” of the resettlement with seven steles by the artist Jörg Schröder.
