Top cycling routes to Erft Cycle Path

Tips

  • Along the Erft is definitely worth it. With little slope and slope so not too exhausting so that you can enjoy the tour

  • Top signposted, good surface and always close to water. sunny and shady in alternation

  • Driving along the Erft is nice and you pass many sights. But I don't like two things. If the Erft from the source is beautiful and clear for many kilometers, you can only feel sorry for the river to Euskirchen. Brown and it smells like detergent and rubbish - what are you doing to this river - and that something like that still exists!
In addition, the Erft cycle path occasionally follows the Roman route. Dirt roads with stones start to get annoying at some point when you've already covered a lot of kilometers. In general, the route along the Erft is still recommended
