The castle is a two-winged building with a hipped roof. Two protruding plastered half-timbered floors are set up on a massive ground floor. The so-called Knights' Hall is located on the north side of the north wing. In the wood-paneled room there are several portraits of well-known European rulers such as Charlemagne, Frederick I Barbarossa, Julius Caesar and a painting by the Ottoman Sultan Suleyman I
