Dalbenden Castle is a former moated castle, built towards the end of the 12th century as a main building with a bailey and completely surrounded by moats. This castle was the ancestral seat of the noble family of the Knights of Dalbenden, documented since the end of the 12th century.

Today there are 20 rentable residential units in the castle with a total area of approx. 1,750 square meters.

Dalbenden Castle is a castle complex that was built in the 12th century as a moated castle. The listed castle is north of Urft, a district of the municipality of Kall in the North Rhine-Westphalian district of Euskirchen. Nearby is the Dalbenden outcrop of the Eifel water pipe.

The castle was expanded in the 16th century to include the courtyard and other outbuildings. A further expansion took place in the 18th century, with the castle being expanded to include today's castle park.

The castle complex, which served as the headquarters of Generalfeldmarschall Gerd von Rundstedt during the Ardennes offensive in 1944, was bombed by an attack by the American Air Force on December 8, 1944 and suffered severe destruction.

After the reconstruction, it was severely affected by a fire in 1964.
