Regular ascent very exposed to the sun but which from half onwards gives way to an Alpine panorama that has few equals in the Apennines.

Above all, the driveway on the Ligurian side, coming from Varese Ligure, is very nice for us racing cyclists.
The pass itself is a bit in the forest, so that the beautiful views are on both sides a few hundred meters below the pass.
If you drive about 500 m towards Varese, you can turn left onto the beautiful ridge road to Passo della Cappelletta.
