Starting from the Parma Railway Station, following this simple itinerary, you can visit all of historic Parma in just over an hour. Obviously by running in this time. Path to do even on foot or by bicycle. Parco Ducale, Lungo Parma, Cittadella, Piazza Garibaldi, Cathedral and Baptistery, Pilotta and much more in 13km. On the route there are fountains for free drinking and all kinds of services.

A Sunday classic designed for families ...
From the village of Borgo Val di Taro, follow the signs for the cycle path and from here continue along it until you cross the Vona stream and then turn left towards the ancient and historic chapel of the Madonna di Caravaggio; then following the asphalted road you go along the Vona valley going up towards San Martino, the road goes up but apart from a small stretch with annoying slopes it will be a pleasant walk. After a visit to the church and having filled the water bottles to the adjacent fountain, take the path on the right that will take you to the ridge of Macinarsi, once you reach the ridge, go down to the left towards the locality of the same name, following the traces of the QUT and enjoying a magnificent view of the location Brunelli and the whole upper Valtaro, you will be amazed, reaching the dirt road, going down towards the village of Borgo Val di Taro, turn left to take the new Alpine path recovered a few years ago.
The return to the village from Cavanna will give you unique views of the Valtarese country.
