At the Kompeskopf viewpoint there is a shelter and a large rest area with tables and benches. You also have a wonderful view of Treis-Karden. Between the Moselle towns of Karden and Müden are the largest stocks of boxwood north of the Alps. The box tree hiking trail is part of the Moselle Adventure Route and was created with the support of the European Union.
