The tropical house in Chemnitz zoo was created in 2000 by the conversion of the dining room of the adjoining the Tierpark former Diamant Fahrradwerke Chemnitz. The new foyer was designed in 2017 with aquariums, show, hearing and felt panels and a tropical wall painting.
