Tips

  • Holger S.

At the Döss Radond at 2,234 meters you have reached the perfect break. The surrounding nature is overwhelming.

There is also a well for refueling. Here you can lounge around and watch marmots and cows. If you've already bought something for a picnic in Tal, then you've done everything right. If not, enjoy your bars and / or gels;)

The hut on the pass is private. About six kilometers further in Val Mora is Alp Mora, where you can get drinks and simple snacks.

The Döss Radond is the transition from the Münstertal into the Val Mora at 2,234 meters. From here it goes downhill. If you have reached the hut (unfortunately only private), you have managed the exhausting uphill from the valley. In the lee of the hut many bikers take a break and enjoy the sensational view of the surrounding mountains. Here you will always find someone to talk shop for a short time. Just a short break and go on the pleasure ride through the Val Mora.

Very secluded part, hardly any hikers and scenically uniquely beautiful.

Döss Radond means rounded hump, it goes back to the glacial cut during the Würme ice age.

Water flows from Italy over the Lago di san Giacomo and the Livigno Lake, over the Inn and then the Danube into the Black Sea.

A beautiful alpine pass in a mega landscape. Up to here and further on, the path is really easy to ride.
