The stadium Rote Erde in Dortmund, formerly known as the Red Earth, was built in 1926 in the immediate vicinity of the Westfalenhallen on Strobelallee. After the construction of the Westfalenstadion, today's Signal Iduna Park, it borders directly on its east grandstand.
