The original of the Ebstorf world map was unfortunately burned in World War II. It was outsourced in Hanover and not in Ebstorf Monastery. Four copies were made in 1953 of a photo taken before relocation. One of them hangs in Lüneburg.
The long series of photos is my way through this museum. The map is on the back of the admission ticket.
