The Roccolo di Pre Checo can be reached by walking for about ten minutes along the forest track that starts from the road leading to Tarcento, at the height of the Roccolo del Postino. Belonging to Don Francesco Placereani (1920-1986), presbyter, teacher, orator and translator in the Friulian language, native of Montenars, it consists of a tondo and a passata which takes the shape of a bressana. On the edge of the roccolo, the Ecomuseo delle Acque del Gemonese has taken steps to rebuild a dry stone wall thanks to a "landscape construction site" open to the public.
