Hi Giuseppe, of course, for the return you have chosen a demanding day from the weather point of view but, welcome back 👍😃

Surely the most beautiful and evocative stretch of the Italian cycle route ...

Nice ride Giuseppe! Challenging? From some photos it seemed hard ...

Very rewarding ride for the beautiful views and places. The first part runs through the vineyards of the Collio Friulano, after which it crosses over into Slovenia and along ancient roads and paths, once used for military purposes during the Great War. In many paths it is still visible the paving of stones placed to facilitate the passage of wagons and mules. During the climb, one ramp in particular is very hard with gradients around 20% ... 25% for about 1Km ("hey, what did you expect?" 😜). At the top of the Korada a refuge awaits us where we can at least enjoy a well-deserved cold beer. The descent from Mount Korada takes place on asphalted roads mostly frequented by cyclists, and on long and fun single tracks downhill (difficulty S0 and sections S1), passing through small mountain villages of some houses. In the morning, the entire route is in the shade and cool. Recommended at least the mountain bike front and the inevitable helmet.

Excellent training route along the Cornappo and the Torre, also usable with gravel or road bikes. The views of the Musi and the valleys are wonderful
