In February 2023, the old, aging wooden bridge on the lakeside path was replaced by a modern and durable aluminum structure. The new bridge is also accessible for supply and rescue vehicles and improves the infrastructure around the reservoir. The new bridge is made of powder-coated and therefore weather-resistant aluminum and was completely finished in the factory to avoid a longer assembly time on site. The bridge is 14.5 m long, 3.2 m wide and weighs 3.4 t.
