Right at the beginning of my tour, when you go through the underpass, you reach the caves, you can even see them from the road, they are below the Göpfelstein cave

The Hagentorhöhlen is located at the southern exit of the road tunnel of the B32. The caves got the name because of their proximity to the former city gate, the Hagentor. There used to be a flax break in the large cave, which is why it is also called the crushed stone cave. Two corridors lead into the mountain, which meet again inside. The small Hagentorhöhle used to be a cellar and was provided with a gate.
