Tips
The high shield wall in the north of the medieval castle complex of Hettingens Castle is still preserved. The wall shows the former connection between the defensive walls and the settlement. Connected to it around 1720 was a residential building as a manor. From 1991 to 1994 the castle was completely renovated and converted into the town hall. In the building there is also the Narrenburg, a carnival museum.
