Tips
The DEK is a great route but more suitable for trekking bikes than racing bikes. There are long gravel sections. Beautiful landscape, nice, sometimes sleepy places and many castles/moated castles that are worth a detour, and not just because of the gastronomy.

It's great to look at from a bike. Pedestrians are strictly forbidden from looking directly at the water. So: grab your bike and ride off and enjoy the view.
