    Ehrenfels Castle (Hayingen)

    Ehrenfels Castle and Park (2016)

Ehrenfels Castle is located in Baden-Württemberg, in the Swabian Alb, between Hayingen and Zwiefalten. It belongs to the municipality of Hayingen in the Reutlingen district. Situated on the Hasenbach stream on a hill above the borders of the Glastal and Werftal valleys, near the Wimsen Cave, it is difficult to see from the road.

Roland Freiherr von Saint-André, as owner of Ehrenfels Castle, Wimsen, and the surrounding area, was committed to preserving this historically significant property. Upon his death in September 2015, his daughter and heir, Nicoletta Freifrau von Saint-André, ensured, in accordance with her father's wishes, that the "Schloss Ehrenfels Saint-André Foundation" was approved and established. The foundation, based at Ehrenfels Castle, serves the purpose of promoting art, culture, and history, as well as monument protection and preservation. It is also used for events of all kinds and can be visited (by appointment).
