Beautifully situated alpine pasture, in a clearing directly on the lake with a great panorama. The Gaisalm can only be reached on foot via a partially narrow path (not necessarily suitable for prams) or by boat.

Nice rest after the Gaisalmsteig. Boat to Pertisau in the Achensee Card included. Departure 11:10, 13:10, 15:10

The Gaisalm can only be reached on foot. The route can be shortened or extended by boat. The way to Pertisau is paved with great views and impressions. Always worth a trip.

The Gaisalm is only open during the summer months (usually May to September). In winter holidays at the Achensee you should not go on the trail, then avalanches can go out. In addition, the Gaisalm is closed in winter.

The Gaisalm is a great start or end point of a tour, whether you go from here by boat back to Pertisau, Achenkirchen or Seespitz is up to you. You can reach the Gaisalm on foot from Achenkirchen and also from Pertisau (unfortunately not so good with prams).

Eating is a real struggle. The one poor person who has to bob everything here is visibly overwhelmed ... let's hope that it was only like this today, because the Alm is definitely beautiful and there is also a great playground :)

Located in a beautiful landscape, the visit of the Gaisalm is highly recommended. By shipping, the tour can be extended further or from there, the journey home will be started. Mountain bikes have no business here.

We have not seen these roofs shown in the pictures. Maybe there is a new route now? If you already see the alpine pasture, things go uphill again! But a great hike! When do you ever see a green lake?

An alp with boat connection, where is that still? Idyllic location, possibly as an option there by boat and on foot back or vice versa.

Very good (and only) refreshment stops on the hike from
Along Pertisau. From here it is steep and also more difficult to hike over the "Mariensteg". Good shoes, as the ground is rocky. Great views.
Tip: The first part from Pertisau to the Gaisalm is much easier to walk. After a stop, you have the option of either continuing the 2nd, more difficult part of the "Mariensteig" or taking the Achensee boat back.

Here you can go swimming and get your bones back on track. The beer is also recommended.

Beautiful alpine hut near the lake with great food and refreshment. Here you also have the opportunity to continue with the ship.

Perfect for a stopover. The spinach dumplings with grated mountain cheese were great!

If you like climbing and hiking, this is the place for you. A great trail with a great destination on the Alm, where a deserved refreshment invites you to stop. Although also accessible by boat, but running is simply more exciting.

From Pertisau you can reach the Geisalm via a very, very beautiful hiking trail. With plenty of views of the lake and great rock formations and small paths you come to the Alm. There are also the possibilities to go by boat. The trail is definitely more beautiful and adventurous.

Beautiful Alm with beer garden located on the beautiful Achenseeweg. Easily accessible on foot from Pertisau and Achenkirch in an hour or by ferry. :)

Perfect stopover after the strenuous hike.
Very good food! The hiking trail from Pertisau to the Gaisalm is a little easier than the hiking trail from Achenkirch over the Mariensteg to the Gaisalm. Both hiking trails are worthwhile, as there are always beautiful photo opportunities of the Achensee!
