Tips

  • Betty

Refreshment and overnight accommodation with a great view of Lake Achensee and a cozy terrace, open daily from mid-May to early November. Culinary tip: The Kaiserschmarrn is excellent.

Descent from the Dalfalzalm is very steep and rocky. Good footwear and sure-footedness are a must.

A rustic Alm as you imagine. Farmed and with accommodation. Go uphill for about an hour and you come to the Erfurt hut.

The Dalfaz Alm is beautifully situated with a wonderful view of the Achensee. Here you can eat well Kaiserschmarrn, goulash soup or sausages. But beware, there are bold birds trying to steal the food.

The only drawback is that the Alm is operated with self-service - if there is a lot going on, hardly anyone will look for a second drink ... Beautiful cabin, good food - unfortunately only in self-service. Great trip especially in spring / fall when it is a little cooler.

Tip: Take the Rofanbahn up to the mountain station and from here hike along the panorama path with wonderful views of the Achensee to the Dalfazalm.
Wonderful panorama terrace over lush green cow pastures on the emerald green water of the Achensee. Good food like Kaiserschmarrn, buttermilk and of course other foods and drinks.
From here, continue hiking downhill to the Dalfaz waterfall down to Maurach.
Tip: For those who are really sporty, there is of course also a (arduous) ascent from Maurach up to the Dalfazalm.
Open from the beginning of May to the end of October

Super friendly service, refreshing drinks such as shandy, apple juice spritzer, wheat beer or gentian. We can highly recommend the Kaiserschmarrn.

Very nice Alm with very nice and friendly operators. The food is delicious and the portions adequate. Nobody will starve to death 😉. The view of the valley or the mountains is mega impressive.

Actually, the hut disaster. Everyone with the gondola up and hike over there ... Are over Hochiss around the back for 4 hours and then 30 people stand in line for drinks or food ... Then we are right back ...
