The play of colors is great, but it wouldn't be enough for a trip for me. But there is also a turtle sanctuary in the area. We passed here first on our hike over the Piton Canot. 1.5 km further there is another 100m high waterfall. Overall it's ok, even if it's quite touristy by Mauritius standards.

OK for a stopover if you're heading into Ebony Forest anyway. The combination of the different highlights is definitely recommended.
