Terezín (German: Theresienstadt) is a small fortress town located in the Litoměřice District, in the Ústí nad Labem Region, only two kilometers southeast of Litoměřice. The town stands on both sides of the Ohře River, which divides it into the Small Fortress and the Main Fortress, and flows into the Elbe River north of the town. The road II/608 runs through Terezín, which connects to the road I/15 on the northwestern edge of the town. Terezín also includes three neighboring villages: České Kopisty, Nové Kopisty and Počaply.

An impressive place. We had only 3 hours and visited the museum and the Gestapo prison. I was there with my daughter and it so important not to forget history to prevent doing the same faults again.
