Mountain biking

The Bavarian State Garden Show 1998 was the eighth state garden show and took place from April 24th to October 4th, 1998 in Neumarkt in the Upper Palatinate. Under the motto "SinnesWandel" the site of the former sewage treatment plant on the Ludwigskanal was renovated and transformed into a park landscape. Since Neumarkt had applied for the state garden show at short notice, only three years were available for planning and developing the site, not the usual seven.

Mountain biking

The current position of the highlight is between Berg and Neumarkt am Kanal. Looking towards Neumarkt, turn left to Loderbach. A little further at the next bridge to the right we come up to the Schlossberg.
