Wyk was founded around 1700 and since 1819 is the first state-recognized seaside resort on the North Sea coast of the North Sea. In the center there are many small cafes and small shops with all sorts of knickknacks. Highly recommended is the small fish bar from Scheel. Here is the Matjesbrötchen with 3.20 euros cheaper than in Kappeln.
