In the years 1738 to 1741 the castle Lindich was built on behalf of Prince Friedrich Ludwig. The building was built in Rococo style. The floor plan of the two-storey building is square. The castle is privately owned and can not be visited. In one of the six so-called cavalier houses is however an Italian restaurant (Monday and Tuesday rest day).

The Lindich Hunting Lodge is a pretty little Rococo castle that attracts day trippers with an Italian restaurant with an outdoor area. Although the view through the fence makes you want more, it is unfortunately not open to the public as it is privately owned.
