Bad Reichenhall (until 1890 Reichenhall) is a large district town and the county seat of the district Berchtesgadener Land in the administrative district of Upper Bavaria. Already in Roman times salt production is detectable. The Saline Bad Reichenhall markets its Reichenhaller brand salt today in Germany and beyond. The brine springs were after the city fire in 1834 also basis for the development of the spa, the u. a. has various brine applications (bathing cure, drinking cure and aerosol cure) and finally raised to the Bavarian Staatsbad.
