Tips
The Alpgartensteig leads through the most beautiful and wildest side of the Lattengebirge in the Berchtesgaden Alps in Bavaria. An exciting, well-designed path that requires surefootedness and a head for heights in the middle section on a narrow ridge, but is otherwise easy to walk.Of course, the hike through the Alpgarten can also be done descending from the mountain station of the Predigtstuhlbahn, but it is nicer the other way around.
