Unfortunately, this is not about sleeping. The new Bettenradweg takes its name from an old name for the forest district "Betten". A trade route ran along this ridge between the valleys of the Wolfsbach and Bleichenbach streams: the "Bettenstraße", which was used in the Middle Ages and probably even in pre-Christian times.

A new cycle path has now been opened here, which goes through this area. It goes from Ober-Seemen to Glauburg-Stockheim and is about 23 km long.

The downside is that it's not fully paved, so it's unsuitable for racing bikes. The signage is also (still) in need of improvement. I didn't see the additional sign "Bettenradweg" very often. At the moment I would still lean towards the bicycle navigation system if you want to go this route.
